Biology Society (BioNet)
Welcome to the BioNet Society!
Looking to develop a deep interest in biology? To make connections between peers and professionals within the biological field? Then look no further! The Biology Network – or BioNet – is the society at UOW just for you! We aim to provide a support network for all biology-based degrees, and act as a medium for all members of the biological sciences community, whether it be macro- or microbiology. We host illuminating events on current research projects, offer information on career prospects, and assist aspiring biologists in their studies. It’s an overall great environment to get yourself involved in both the social and academic aspects of biology at UOW.
Our events include the annual Taronga Zoo trip; Science ‘n’ Schooners for your professional connections; microscope workshops for those in need of practice; the more community-wise Clean Up Australia Day; and so much more!
Volunteers are free to contact us via email or our Facebook page.
