The Red Cross Club at UOW is a part of the largest humanitarian network in the world and is one of 186 International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in Australia.

The vision of the Australian Red Cross is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity. Their seven fundamental principles are humanity, impartiality, neutrality, indpendence, voluntary service, unity and universality.

The Red Cross Club at UOW has provided a number of volunteering opportunities for its members and enthusiastically participated in UniClubs events on campus.

Their events include a card writing day, blood drive BBQs and bake sale fundraisers to raise money for the organisation.

The club won the Campus Engagement award this year for their dedication and enthusiasm!
