They will showcase their newly-designed electric vehicle which the team has been working on since mid-last year. The vehicle’s design is based on the club's successful 2015 racer with 13-inch wheels and an emphasis on energy efficiency.
We have high hopes for UOW Motorsport who won the championship last year with their racer, 'Hollie', in a pool of over 30 university teams. They also achieved the highest results in the Overall Internal Combustion Class, the Autocross Event, came second in the Endurance Event and third in the Skidpan Event.
The competition not only supports an enthusiasm for car racing and design but also encourages students to develop skills in management, manufacturing, communication, research and business operations in a real-world environment. Students who achieve high results in this competition are highly valued and sought after in the engineerinng mobility industry.
We look forward to hearing about UOW Motorsport's results and wish them all the best at the competition!
