Australasian Intervarsity Debate Championships
Every year, teams from universities in the Australasian region compete in the Australasian Intervarsity Debating Championships, or “Australs.” It is one of the largest debating tournaments in the world, second only in size to the World Universities Debating Championships (WUDC). In 2023, after two long years of virtual Australs, the event will be held in person in Krabi, Thailand. SWORDS intends on sending 1 team and 1 adjudicator this year.
