Aim
The aim of the Club is to promote cross-campus activities for all staff categories and interested students. It aims to foster a collegiate atmosphere on campus.

Club Lounge
The Club Lounge is located next to the upstairs bar in the UniCentre. It is designed to provide a pleasant area for conversations, reading and dining. Easy chairs, coffee tables, dining chairs and tables are provided. A microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and associated crockery and cutlery are available. A sound system is also provided. A selection of magazines is available in the Lounge. Members may bring their own food or purchase light or full meals from the UniCentre.

Functions
The Club hosts and subsidises a variety of functions. These include monthly lunches at the Club Lounge. In addition, the lounge may be booked by members for functions, such as research group meetings, receptions for visitors and staff farewells at times other than lunch time (12.30 – 2.00pm), and members are encouraged to do so. Bookings must be made with the Club Secretary. Members are responsible for any catering arrangements with the UniCentre.

Membership
Membership is available to all categories of University staff, as well as to students, Alumni, members of Convocation, the University Council and the Friends Organisation. The current fees are as follows:

Annual fees may be paid in advance or, at the member’s wish, be deducted in fortnightly instalments from University salaries (at rate of $1.15 or $2.00 per pay based on above).
