Welcome to UoW MAS Club!

The Malaysian Student Association (MAS) is a student organization intent on providing and organizing social activities for its members to foster a community environment on campus. We aim to promote a greater understanding and friendship between students of all races and offer assistance to students in adjusting to the newly found environment in Wollongong.

Established since 1996, MAS has successfully united Malaysian students who are studying at the University of Wollongong. Since its establishment, there has been an increase in the number of members. Current membership exceeds 50 students, and is growing rapidly. As MAS also functions as an organisation that introduces and promotes the Malaysian culture to the Australian society as well as other nationalities studying at Wollongong, therefore MAS welcome non-Malaysian to become its member.

Through out the year, members will have the chance to enjoy a line up of social, sporting and cultural events including barbeques, gatherings, weekly badminton games, inter-society and inter-university sports carnival, amongst many others.

MAS aspire to work closely with its members to create an enjoyable and enriching experience while studying in Wollongong. MAS look forward to welcome new members and to continually foster and develop good ties among our members.
