Welcome to the Guild

The Guild is a club dedicated to playing all sorts of games, in a relaxed and social setting. Our members love to play board games, card games, miniatures games and roleplaying games. (If you've never heard of some of these, we offer an explanation.)

We are a part of the University of Wollongong and meet regularly on campus. (But you don't have to be a student to join!) We have maps to help you find us. The table below shows our current games. And if you want to organise a new activity, we'd love to hear from you!

Membership of the Guild is open to all. A year's membership costs $5.00. If you want to join, please e-mail The Secretary.

Clubs Day

The next clubs day is on Wednesday the 3rd of march, from 11am to 2pm. Whether you are a new student who has just heard about this club or an old hand please visit our stall and have a chat.

UniCentre Cup

The unicentre cup is a sporting event to encorage communication between clubs. The next one will be held on friday the 2nd of April. More information comming later.

Funding Applications

The Guild can request funding from UniCentre to pay for some things.
There are three areas we can apply for funding in:

• Training Grant ($200 per year). We might be able to get funding to attend conventions from this area. It is also for the purchase of resources such as source books.
• Social Grant ($200 per year). This is to pay for food and drinks provided at social events held on campus.
• Campus Engagement Grant ($500 per year). This is to assist with the costs of running events for the benifit of the entire campus community. We might be able to claim resources in this area

Any funding applications must be submitted to UniCentre before any expense is incured. This means that if you want the guild to pay for your trip to SydCon in October you must apply before the September deadline.
All funding applications must provide the following information.

• An itemised quote
• An explaination of how this item will benifit The Guild and the campus community
• What area you are claiming funding from

Once you have all of that information send it to the treasurer for consideration

The funding deadlines for this year are:

• Thursday the 4th of March.

The Spaces column indicates how many vacancies a game has. Games with vacancies are open to new players. Anyone can join these games.
